Tower CK was the interlocking tower in Winona where the Chicago & North Western and the Milwaukee Road crossed. During the era I am modeling, both railroads shared a short section before splitting apart again. The Chicago & North Western would climb the Stockton Hill to Rochester and points West, while the Milwaukee Road would continue West towards Wabasha and the Twin Cities.
On my layout, the Milwaukee Road will split off and run to a small hidden staging yard under the Stockton Hill. The Chicago & North Western will climb the hill, often with helper units, to Rochester, represented as a staging yard.
